The Industrial Internet Consortium announces combination with Openfog Consortium
工業(yè)互聯(lián)網(wǎng)聯(lián)盟宣布與Openfog聯(lián)盟合并

December 18, 2018 – The Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC) and the OpenFog Consortium (OpenFog) announced that they have agreed in principle to combine the two international consortia in Industrial IoT, fog and edge computing.The move will bring OpenFog members into the IIC organization at a time when their complementary areas of technology are emerging in the mainstream.  

2018年12月18日消息——工業(yè)互聯(lián)網(wǎng)聯(lián)盟(IIC)和OpenFog聯(lián)盟(開放霧聯(lián)盟，OpenFog)宣布原則上同意合并工業(yè)物聯(lián)網(wǎng)、霧和邊緣計(jì)算領(lǐng)域的兩個國際聯(lián)盟。此舉將使OpenFog成員進(jìn)入IIC組織，成為該主流技術(shù)領(lǐng)域的一個補(bǔ)充。

The combined memberships will continue to drive the momentum of the Industrial Internet including the development and promotion of industry guidance and best practices for fog and edge computing.The organizations expect the details to be finalized in early 2019.

合并后的會員將繼續(xù)推動工業(yè)互聯(lián)網(wǎng)的發(fā)展，包括開發(fā)和推廣霧和邊緣計(jì)算的行業(yè)指南和最佳實(shí)踐。兩組織預(yù)計(jì)細(xì)節(jié)將于2019年初敲定。
